Second Trailer: “John Wick” Spin-Off “Ballerina”

Lionsgate has premiered a new full trailer for the female-driven “John Wick” spin-off feature “Ballerina” which finally arrives mid-year.

Ana de Armas stars as a young female assassin named Eve Macarro who is trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma and seeks revenge against the people who killed her family.

Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, the late Lance Reddick, David Castaneda, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves co-star.

The film was delayed almost a year to accommodate the filming of additional action sequences and reshoots, with franchise steerer Chad Stahelski helping guide those sequences alongside the film’s director, Len Wiseman.

The new trailer seemingly shows off some of these, along with good looks at Reeves reprising his role from the four previous mainstream films..

“From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” will open in cinemas on June 6th.
