The hero the world needs right now may very well be The Toxic Avenger, who returns to theaters with a brand new unrated reboot from Cineverse on August 29, 2025.

This first look at The Toxic Avenger takes you on a trip to Miss Meat, a burger joint that’s invaded by armed political extremists. The only thing standing in their way? The Toxic Avenger, who this time around is being played by Emmy winner Peter Dinklage!

Troma’s beloved hero returns to the big screen with the brand new reboot of the cult classic Troma movie from director Macon Blair, which also stars Kevin Bacon and Elijah Wood.

Jacob Tremblay, Julia Davis and Taylour Paige also star in this darkly comedic, bold new chapter of the beloved Toxic Avenger franchise created by Troma back in the 1980s.

It all begins when a shocking accident transforms downtrodden janitor Winston Gooze (Dinklage) into a mutant vigilante. Armed with his signature mop, the unlikely hero battles freaks, gangsters and corrupt CEOs while trying to save his relationship with his son.
