John and Carlile will be plugging their collaborative album, Who Believes in Angels?, which will be released the day before their SNL visit. Lizzo has also yet to reveal a release date for her upcoming fifth LP, Love in Real Life, although the title cut came out at the end of February.
SNL celebrated its 50th anniversary last month with a series of documentaries and two live specials — one focused solely on music, and the other a more traditional episode of the show packed with alums from throughout its history.
