One of the new Amex Offers that came out this week as part of Amex Member Week is an opportunity to save up to 20% on a car rental with Hertz.
The Deal
- Spend $350+ on one or more rentals with Hertz & get $70 back with an Amex Offer.
Key Terms
- Enroll by March 21, 2025 for rentals through April 30, 2025.
- Offer valid only for vehicle rentals made directly with participating Hertz Corporate owned locations in the US.
- Rentals can be made through the Hertz US website hertz.com, the Hertz app, Hertz US phone reservations, or in-person at participating Hertz Corporate owned locations in the US. Visit hertz.com/rentacar/location for information on Corporate locations.
- Must pick up and return rental to Hertz Corporate owned locations only.
- Eligible rentals must be paid by 4/30/2025 in order to qualify.
- Excludes independently licensed locations, Hertz Car Sales, and Rent2Buy.
- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
Quick Thoughts
This is a great way to save money on car rentals, especially seeing as the $350 total can be spent on multiple rentals, rather than having to be spent in only one transaction.
Note that you have to enroll in the Amex Offer by Friday March 21, but you do have until April 30 to pay for your rental(s).
If you don’t need to book a rental right this moment, it’d be worth perusing the Hertz website nonetheless with the Capital One Shopping browser extension installed as you’ll then hopefully be sent a high targeted cashback rate.
