Do you love rumors like we do? Well, buckle up, because this latest theory could reveal the Nintendo Switch 2 release date. We’re admittedly grasping at straws for any information as the wait until Nintendo’s official launch is getting painful. YouTuber ThunderStash posted a long explanation on X as to why they think the Nintendo Switch 2 is releasing on May 15, 2025. The date does seem a little close, especially as we only get a good look at the console on April 2 during the next Nintendo Direct, but there are some intriguing points to consider. ThunderStash begins explaining why May 15 is the “perfect” release date by confirming none of this comes from ‘insider sources’ or leaks, “just logic, patterns, and solid research." To be fair, May 15 is already a big day for Nintendo with the release of the Mario Kart Lego and the official opening of the Nintendo store in San Francisco, so adding another giant event may not be feasible.
