First Images of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro Leak Online, Is an April Release Next?
Almost continuously in the news here since the start of 2025, despite facing potential drone bans and other obstacles, DJI is still hard at work churning out exciting new products for film and video professionals. Expanding beyond just drones, DJI has some nice camera gimbals and even audio options these days.Yet, aerial camera drones are still the company’s biggest business, and news of a potential DJI Mavic 4 Pro leaking online is worth covering. Let’s take a look at these most recent leaked images and explore what others online are indicating points DJI towards a possible April release date for an upcoming DJI Mavic 4 Pro.Rumored DJI Mavic 4 ProAt the rate that DJI has been pushing out new drones and products, it should come as no surprise that a Mavic 4 Pro is on the way. And, according to a recent report by Jasper Ellens on the site DroneXL, it appears that an official announcement of a new DJI Mavic 4 Pro is just around the corner. The reports also share some leaked images that showcase the Mavic 4 Pro’s zoom capabilities powered by what is rumored to be 2.5x and 6z zoom lenses. There are no confirmations or reports on what the equivalent focal lengths will be, but it sounds like three cameras are in the cards that could range from as low as 24mm and as high as 150mm. The only other major tidbit that can perhaps be gleaned from these leaks has to do with the size of this rumored Mavic 4 Pro, which does appear that the Mavic 4 Pro will be at least a little bit larger than the previous Mavic 3 Pro, but should still be small enough to fit into a backpack or easily carry.Rumored DJI Mavic 4 Pro Release DateWhile of course nothing official has been shared by DJI yet, the same reports seem to indicate that an April announcement could be in the cards.
