Hear Noah Cyrus Team With Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold

Noah Cyrus teams with Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold on the new single “Don’t Put It All on Me,” which is out now from RECORDS/Columbia Records. The track was written by Cyrus’ brother, Braison.

“I have always been the observer in our family, and Braison wrote about how I tend to carry the weight of that on my shoulders,” Noah says.

More from Spin:

The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Luis Villanueva, of which Cyrus says, “I want my music to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia. That’s something that I feel so heavily when I listen to music. We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this new collection of songs was made with that in mind. I want to evoke that feeling of a comforting friend that a song can be — and allow us all to heal.”

“Don’t Put It All on Me” is the first in what’s expected to be a series of new releases from Cyrus, who just signed with Range Music for management. Her last full-length album was 2022’s The Hardest Part.

As for Fleet Foxes, the group have no confirmed tour dates at the moment but are expected to appear during at least one high profile U.S. music festival this summer.
