BLACKPINK’s Lisa Drops Choreo-Heavy Performance Video for ‘FUTW’ Single
The high-octane visual follows the recent Vixi version of the "Alter Ego" single.

BLACKPINK‘s LISA dropped a high-energy YouTube Music Nights Special Stage Performance video for her solo single “FUTW” on Tuesday night (March 18). The visual is a static shot of the singer and six backup dancers on a stage framed by blood red columns, with all seven women wearing variations on black leather bikinis.
After shedding her leather jacket, LISA leans right into the song’s grimy bounce beat, as she sing/raps, “Yeah, woke up in that mode again/ Yeah, please don’t call my phone again/ Yeah, walking in causing havoc/ Yes that is a habit” while the crew pull off their hip-swiveling, booty-popping choreo all around her.
The new visual is a sequel to the first “FUTW” video LISA dropped last month in conjunction with the release of her debut solo album, Alter Ego. In that more traditional clip, LISA took on the persona of one of the LP’s multiple alter egos, Vixi, portraying the red leather-clad baddie as patient at a mental hospital who is hell bent on creating mayhem everywhere she goes.
Alter Ego debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart dated March 15 with sales of 28,000 in the U.S. for the week ending March 6, according to Luminate. She became the second member of the K-pop quartet to land a solo top 10 on the chart, following ROSÉ’s rosie, which hit No. 3 on the list dated Dec. 21, 2024. BLACKPINK has three top 10s, including two No. 1s: The Album (in 2020) and BORN PINK (2022).
