What is “Happy Face” about?

“Happy Face” is inspired by the life of podcast host and writer Melissa G. Moore, who discovered when she was 15 that her father was the serial killer known as the Happy Face killer. The series follows an adult Moore whose world is upended again when, following decades of zero contact, her incarcerated father finds a way back into her life. Facing a ticking clock, she must deduce whether or not a man who is about to be executed is actually innocent and being punished for a crime that her father committed.
