‘The White Lotus’ Holds Off Buzzy Newcomers ‘Adolescence,’ ‘Moana 2’ and ‘The Electric State’ on Streaming Top 10 | Chart
HBO's acclaimed hit cinches another week atop the Wrap Report streaming chart, despite an influx of new releases The post ‘The White Lotus’ Holds Off Buzzy Newcomers ‘Adolescence,’ ‘Moana 2’ and ‘The Electric State’ on Streaming Top 10 | Chart appeared first on TheWrap.

One of the common refrains about the streaming revolution is that it offers viewers a plethora of choices. This week’s Samba TV Weekly Wrap Report’s streaming chart proves that point, with five entries that weren’t on last week’s chart, showing just how hard it is to attract and maintain a fanbase in this competitive era.
Yet even with a 50% refresh, the top of the chart looks the same. “The White Lotus,” the Max/HBO series about less-than-perfect people visiting a dreamy location, remains atop the chart for the fourth consecutive week. It is followed, yet again, by “1923” on Paramount+. The “Yellowstone” spinoff aired its fourth episode on Sunday, March 16.
No. 3 is “Reacher” on Amazon Prime Video, which has also become lodged in the top half of the chart in recent weeks. It’s followed by “Moana 2,” which made its Disney+ debut on March 12, with an impressive 620% more viewership taking place on the platform than when the movie landed on VOD.
Next up is a new entry on the chart, “The Electric State” on Netflix. The universally panned post-robot-uprising sci-fi film from the Russo Brothers (of Marvel fame) still managed to latch on with audiences, drawing 1.6 million curious U.S. households in its first three days streaming. No. 5 belongs to another new entry, “Kraven: The Hunter” on Netflix.
“Adolescence” on Netflix is No. 7. The British drama shows the fallout after a 13-year-old boy is accused of murdering a classmate. Up next is “Running Point,” the Kate Hudson-led Netflix comedy series.
That leaves two new entries: “The Pitt” on Max, which has been a mainstay on the chart, and its presence is all the more remarkable given this week’s turnover. Finally, the penultimate episode of “Severance” Season 2 aired on March 14, putting the buzzy Apple TV+ show on the chart this week.
Linear is a battle between singing shows, with Tom Hanks thrown in the middle. The “Battles” round of “The Voice” kicked off on March 10, pushing the popular singing competition back to the top of the chart. It was enough to stave off challenges from an American idol (Tom Hanks, who narrates the nature doc “The Americas”) and “American Idol.”
CBS lands a double dose of scripted fare on the chart with “Tracker” at No. 4 and “FBI” at No. 5.
Aside from “America’s Funniest Home Videos” coming in at No. 7, the rest of the chart belongs to “Wheel of Fortune.”
The Wrap Report provides an exclusive first look at the most watched movies and TV series from the past week across both streaming and linear television sourced from viewership trends collected from Samba TV’s panel of more than 3 million households, balanced to the U.S. Census.
