Tombstone
Disney has announced a 4K Blu-ray release on April 22nd of George P. Cosmatos’ 1993 feature “Tombstone” starring Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, Bill Paxton, and Powers Boothe. The disc will include a new 4K restoration along with featurettes, storyboards, trailers and TV spots.

The film follows U.S. Marshall Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell), his brothers (Sam Elliott, Bill Paxton) and the outrageous Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) band together to bring law to the lawless in a notorious showdown at the O.K. The Count Of Monte Cristo
“Bridgerton” and “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” star Regé-Jean Page has reportedly signed on to star and produce a new take on “The Count Of Monte Cristo” at Department M and A Mighty Stranger. Patrick Ness is attached to write while Page will produce alongside Emily Brown, Mike Larocca and Michael Schaefer.

Alexandre Dumas penned the original novel about a young sailor falsely accused of treason, who, after years of imprisonment, escapes and seeks revenge against those who wronged him, ultimately becoming the wealthy Count of Monte Cristo. [Source: Deadline]

Lilo & Stitch
Disney has released a new clip from the live-action “Lilo and Stitch” movie where the title characters arrive at Nani’s workplace. The reimagining of the 2002 film follows a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family. Maia Kealoha, Sydney Agudong, Tia Carrere, Courtney B. Vance, Jason Scott Lee, Zach Galifianakis, and Billy Magnussen co-star.

The Walking Dead: Dead City
AMC has released a new trailer for the second season premiere of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” which returns on May 4th. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan return as Negan and Maggie, now forced into opposing sides of a brutal war for control over a decimated Manhattan.

As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined. ​ Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek, Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon, Lisa Emery, Logan Kim, Dascha Polanco and Kim Coates co-star.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered
New content will be coming to the No Return mode of the PS5 version of Naughty Dog’s “The Last of Us Part II Remastered” in time for when the PC version of the title hits on April 3rd.

Bill and Marlene are being introduced for the mode while four new maps have also been added – ‘Overlook’, ‘Streets’, ‘School’ and ‘Nest’. An unlockable version of “Intergalactic” character Jordan’s jacket skin will also be available. [Source: NaughtyDog.com]

The Last of Us
HBO has premiered a new poster for the upcoming second season of their game-to-series adaptation of “The Last of Us” with Bella Ramsey’s Ellie and Pedro Pascal’s Joel front and center in the art. The show returns on April 13th.

Ramsey has also spoken with British Vogue about how a crew member on the show’s first season advised her they were showing signs of autism on set. Ramsey sought a formal psychiatric assessment and was diagnosed as being on the spectrum.
