Drug Church’s Patrick Kindlon announces new comic series, ‘Gehenna: Naked Aggression’

Drug Church and Self Defense Family vocalist Patrick Kindlon remains a very busy person, who, in addition to fronting two great bands, is also a co-host of multiple podcasts and a comic book creator. He’s announced a new comic series, Gehenna: Naked Aggression, which he created with artist Maurizio Rosenzweig, and issue one will be available soon via Image Comics. As Patrick explains in a video posted to his Instagram stories, you have to actually call a comic book store like the old days in order to pre-order it. Here’s more about it:

GEHENNA: NAKED AGGRESSION is inspired by Cinemax, Mike Baron’s cocaine era on The Punisher, and Golgo-13. It’s the story of a woman with a price on her head. That contract was never fulfilled, and so it’s been sold as repackaged debt to another criminal organization. And then another. And another. Now she’s trying to outrun these transactions and void the contract with a bullet.

Brought to you by Patrick Kindlon (Drug Church; Self Defense Family; lots of comic books) and Maurizio Rosenzweig (Dylan Dog; many more), this is a nonstop shootout across Chicago between larger-than-life characters, with a good helping of blood and a spoonful of heart.
