The Beta Band are back, announce first tour in 20 years (North America included)

After posting a few teasers last week, The Beta Band have made it official: they’re reforming for their first tour in 20 years. For it, they’ll be celebrating The Three EPs (famously namechecked in classic scene from the High Fidelity movie) and “other classics,” including shows in North America this fall. It’s the classic lineup of the band: Steve Mason (guitar / vocals), Richard Greentree (bass), John Maclean (samples / keyboard) & Robin Jones (drums). All dates are listed below.

North American dates start October 12 in Vancouver and wrap up in NYC at Brooklyn Steel on November 1. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, March 7 at 10 AM local time.

Just in Time for the tour, The Three EPs, featuring “Dry the Rain,” “B+A,” “Inner Meet Me” and more, will be reissued on July 11 via Because Music.
