KLM – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub – is trialling Immfly’s ‘Buy On Board’ service, as it explores digital onboard solutions to further enhance customer experience. The trial is part of a commitment to delivering advanced digital ecosystems that enhance passenger experiences, optimise airline operations, and generate new revenue opportunities.
“We’re tremendously proud to partner with KLM to bring their customers and crew the very latest in Retail Onboard technology,” said Pablo Linz, CEO, Immfly. “This is an incredible opportunity to reinforce the power of retail to elevate the customer experience.”
The solution aims to redefine inflight shopping by integrating a powerful suite of tools designed to enhance efficiency, improve passenger satisfaction, and boost airline profitability. The product suite includes:
- Crew App: a user-friendly interface that simplifies onboard retail operations for crew members, ensuring quick, accurate, and seamless service delivery. The app empowers crew with real-time inventory updates, intuitive sales tracking, and an easy-to-navigate design for hassle-free transactions.
- Back Office: a comprehensive back-end system offering centralised management and actionable insights for airline administrators. The back office streamlines inventory management, sales monitoring, and reporting while providing data-driven analytics to optimise operations and reduce waste.
- End-to-End Payment Management: Immfly’s robust payment solution that is PCI DSS 4.0 certified, supports various methods, enabling fast, secure, and reliable transactions. With advanced reconciliation and fraud prevention measures, airlines can reduce declined payments by up to 90% and maximise revenue per passenger.
By offering a streamlined retail experience, KLM aims to offer its passengers more personalisation during their trip, while also achieving operational efficiencies.
