The Seattle punk band is back with a collection of shambolic, uplifting, Paul Westerbergian punk anthems.

Seattle punks Dead Bars have just released their third album, All Dead Bars Go to Heaven, on Iodine Recordings, and it finds them churning out a collection of shambolic, uplifting, Paul Westerbergian punk anthems that go down like good whiskey. Along with the album’s release, we’re premiering the video for the catchy, bittersweet “I Live Here Now,” and here’s what guitarist C.J. Frederick had to say about this one:
Lyrically, this song reminds me that what doesn’t make sense in the moment sometimes tells the perfect version of who you were at the time. The ghost theme shows up again because like our friends on the other side, we can also be unseen by the world. Maiello wrote the perfect chorus like only he could. I guess maybe owning who you are, putting your head down, and keeping it moving is the only way forward.
