The Beta Band talk reunion tour, add 2nd Brooklyn Steel show
Frontman Steve Mason jokingly says, “A chance to see one of the greatest British bands of the last 30 years – before they turn us into holograms.”

The Beta Band will bring their reunion tour to North America this fall, and it wraps up in NYC at Brooklyn Steel. The November 1 show has sold out so they’ve added a second Brooklyn Steel show on November 2. Tickets for 11/2 go on sale today (3/21) at 12 PM, and all dates are listed below.
In other news, Beta Band frontman Steve Mason was interviewed in The Guardian recently about the band’s reformation, their legacy, and how when they broke up in 2004 they were over £1 million in debt to their label, Parlophone. “We never wanted to be rock stars or make lots of money,” said Mason. “Our ambitions were solely artistic and we pushed ourselves until the last minute. Then we split up. But how many bands can say they spent £1.2m on art?”
Mason joking calls The Beta Band’s upcoming tour “A chance to see one of the greatest British bands of the last 30 years – before they turn us into holograms.”
