Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Tina Fey and Steve Carell’s upcomning Netflix comedy The Four Seasons, which is based on the 1981 film of the same name. It looks like a fun show! The series follows Six old friends who “head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up,” news which “upends the dynamics” between couples Kate (Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani).The story will track the couples “over the course of a year, follow[ing] the friends on four vacations, and watch[ing] how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic — sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface.”The eight-episode, half-hour series is co-created, co-showrun, executive produced, and written by Fey alongside Tracey Wigfield and Lang Fisher, who also directs.The Four Season is set to premiere on May 1.
