A casting call for Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has reportedly gone out.
DanielRPK released the report, indicating the film is looking for several actors to play teachers, with speculation that the film will see Peter finally heading to college.
The report comes as several scoopers, such as The Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez, have indicated that it appears the film takes place before the events of “Avengers: Doomsday”. That would explain reports that Holland may not appear in that team-up film.
Speaking of “Avengers: Doomsday,” actress Brie Larson is seemingly teasing her return as Captain Marvel. Having just finished her stint in the play “Elektra,” Larson has done a social media posting saying: “Now it’s time for a new chapter – more on that on Thursday”.
With “Avengers: Doomsday” currently in production and Larson’s name one of the notable absentees from the previous casting announcement back in late March, the posting has quickly led to speculation we’ll see the next batch of ‘casting chair’ reveals this week.
That film is now in its second week of shooting with Anthony Mackie posting a brief video from the set showing off himself in some chilly locale.
