These offers aim to elevate your spending using a specific card, and you must decide if this makes sense.

I tend to prefer my miles/points in a transferrable currency, and MileagePlus miles are not worth much after a few recent rounds of devaluations.

Eligibility: This is a targeted promotional offer and is non-transferable and applies only to the Primary Cardmember of the account referenced in the email or mailer. Only the eligible United MileagePlus card ending in the last four digits referenced in these communications is eligible for this promotional offer. How to Participate: Must register to qualify. To register for this promotional offer, you must log on to united.com/TicketToMiles and register your United MileagePlus card ending in the last four digits referenced in the email or mailer by August 15, 2025, 11:59 p.m. CT. After registration, you will qualify for and receive the described bonus reward if you make net purchases with your eligible, registered United MileagePlus card that total an amount at or above the specified target amounts and it posts during the promotional period. Only the primary Cardmember is eligible to earn bonus miles for net purchases. Register by August 15, 2025, and all net purchases made on your qualifying card that post within the promotional period will count toward your total spend goal. Only net purchases posted to your account during the offer period are eligible for this promotional offer. The bonus miles can only be earned once during the period, and you will only earn the bonus described at the time of registration for achieving the bonus spend goal. A bonus for hitting a goal other than the registered offer will not be awarded. Goal and bonus offer are final upon registration.
