New Trailer For THE WALKING DEAD: DeAD CITY Season 2 - "Power Equals Power"

AMC released a full trailer for The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2 and it teases the continuing story of Lauren Cohan’s Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan‘s Negan. This is our best look year at the next chapter of the story, and it looks good! The series follows Maggie and Negan as they journey into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, which was long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.In season two, in the growing war for control of Manhattan, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.In the trailer, we see Negan holds court in a display of power. “You see, power equals power,” Negan tells the gangs of New York gathering. “So if you ain’t with us, I guess you’re in for a bit of a shock.” We then see Maggie holding Negan’s beloved baseball bat, Lucille, they one that was used to brutally beat her husband Glenn to death.Walking Dead franchise chief content officer Scott M. Gimple talked about the possibility that other characters from the original series might appear in future seasons of Dead City, saying: “I’m not telling you not to expect it. But it’s a layered universe and so much of the history is important to the present. So it’s gonna be super satisfying when I say this — you never know. It’s an option and a possibility.”The Walking Dead: Dead City is streaming now on AMC Plus in the US, with Season 2 set to premiere on May 4th.
