Lewis Capaldi made a public appearance at the WWE SmackDown in London last night (March 28).
The singer-songwriter was spotted in the crowd at The O2 and he acknowledged fans by flashing the peace sign and giving them a thumbs up.
He was also pictured earlier in a conversation with Scottish wrestler Drew McIntyre backstage.
Capaldi has been on a break from the spotlight since 2023, when he took to the stage at Glastonbury but saw his performance disrupted by vocal tics, which is a symptom of Tourette’s Syndrome.

In January last year, he gave an update on his health, saying “it’s been going great!” Later that year fans spotted him back in the recording studio with Noah Kahan. He also received words of encouragement from Robbie Williams.
More recently, Yungblud shared that Capaldi is working on some “great” new material.
“I have heard his new music, and it sounds great. He is getting his mental health right,” he said.
“I love him, as me and him have been on this ride together. We experienced it at the same time, and he is perhaps the only friend who knows what I am going through, in the same way I know what he’s going through,” Yungblud added, going on the discuss how the pop star helped him write his recently-shared single ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’.
“When I was making this album, I was really close with Lewis, and Lewis was like, ‘Just fucking sing, man’. And we have a massive British actress in the video. It’s going to be iconic.”
The two have been close friends for years now, and both have previously discussed the influence they’ve had on one another’s careers.
Back in 2019, for instance, Yungblud discussed the mischief he used to get up to when they were roomates and both trying to get signed, joking that they would be “getting drunk five nights a week” and “caused so much trouble.”
The following year he also said in another interview that the two of them singlehandedly “kept Stella Artois in business for two years”.
