Timothée Chalamet has weighed in on the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
The beef between the two rappers began in 2013, but came to a head last year through a string of diss tracks, culminating in Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ – widely considered the most successful of the feud.
‘Not Like Us’ became Lamar’s fourth Number One single, smashed numerous streaming records and went on to win five Grammys for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video.
Now, actor Timothée Chalamet has shared his thoughts on Lamar’s victory. During an interview with journalist Judita DaSilva, he delved into the public perception of the beef.
“I think we saw, beyond the quality of songs in the battle environment, we saw pop culture at large got behind the Nobel figure and Pulitzer figure,” he said, referring to Lamar.
