Insider Confusion Over Marvel’s Blade Movie Status – Plus Kang Dynasty Script Leak? | Barside Buzz

The Barside Buzz  says we have insider confusion over the status of Marvel’s Blade movie, plus we might have had a The Kang Dynasty script leak. Only last week we had word from insider Jeff Sneider that Chad Stahelski was set to direct the newly rejigged Blade project which has been delayed for years.

However, another insider, The Playlist‘s Rodrigo Perez claims Sneider got it very wrong. Perez claims that work has completely paused on Blade. He’s heard the plan is to introduce the character now in Secret Wars or the still in development Midnight Suns movie.

Now, when it comes to hit rates I doubt I need to tell you Sneider’s is more impressive. Still, it’s worth mentioning this in case it turns out Blade is back on the backburner as they say.

Meanwhile there has been lot of rumors about the plot of the now cancelled The Kang Dynasty movie. In fact a script (unknown whether genuine) was doing the rounds earlier on. supposedly writer Jeff Loveness early draft of the film. As said, I won’t speak to it’s validity, but I will say it seems to have disappeared off the internet for now. Whether that means Marvel moved to take it down is unknown?

I’m not sure it really matters what the plot of The Kang Dynasty was. All that matters now is whether the plot of Doomsday is good and gives us a hit movie.
