FX Sets Season 4 Premiere Date for WELCOME TO WREXHAM
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are back with more football, more drama, and more Wrexham. FX just announced that Season 4 of Welcome to Wrexham kicks off May 15 at 9pm ET/PT, debuting with a double-episode premiere. If you miss it live, Hulu’s got you covered the next day.The docuseries, now in its fourth round, follows one of the world’s oldest clubs, Wrexham AFC, but at its heart, it’s also about a town trying to find joy, hope, and pride through the beautiful game.Since McElhenney and Reynolds bought the Club in 2020, they’ve been on a mission to turn the 5th-tier Red Dragons into a true underdog success story. And they’ve actually been doing it. Wrexham has climbed its way up into League One, which is their highest standing in two decades. But with progress comes pressure: FX teases “a new level of intensity, competition and costs.” Season 4 will continue to highlight the Wrexham AFC Women’s Team as they battle it out in the Welsh Adran Premier League, proving their talent on a national level and making their own case for greatness. Also this season, Executive Director Humphrey Ker is putting himself to the test… literally. As FX puts it: “Across Wales, England and California, Humphrey Ker trains for a marathon. Will Wrexham AFC’s beloved Executive Director raise funds for charity, survive humiliation at the hands of the players and staff, and complete 26.2 miles without injury or chaffing?”Season 4 promises more heart, more humor, and the continued evolution of a club and a town that refuses to stop dreaming.
