Cool Trailer for 1946-Set Shark Horror-Thriller FEAR BELOW
Blue Fox Ent. and Saban Films have released a trailer for a new shark horror-thriller titled Fear Below, and it looks pretty good! The movie is set in 1946 Australia, “when a gang of ruthless criminals loses their stolen gold when their car sinks into a river, they turn to a team of struggling team of divers from the Sea Dog Diving Company to locate and retrieve a sunken car in a river. “What begins as a high-stakes recovery mission quickly spirals when the divers soon find themselves in the company of a vicious bull shark, but the dangers deep within the water are only a fraction of the dangers that wait for them up above as the criminal gang they are working for is as treacherous as the beast lurking beneath the surface.”I love that this movie is set in the late ‘40 because the divers are wearing those big, heavy, and clunky diving suits. Dealing with a shark while wearing those seems like fun. The movie comes from Oz filmmaker Matthew Holmes, and it stars Hermione Corfield, Jake Ryan, Jacob Junior Nayinggul, Arthur Angel, Josh McConville, Maximillian Johnson, and Clayton Watson. The movie will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting May 2nd, 2025. View fullsize
