Stay Inside prep new LP for Tiny Engines, opening awakebutstillinbed / For Your Health tour in NYC

Just about a year after self-releasing their great 2024 album Ferried Away, Stay Inside have signed to Tiny Engines and they confirmed that they’ve got another new album arriving this fall. Title and exact release date are TBA, but they did just share new single “Monsieur Hawkweed,” which finds the Brooklyn emo band continuing to lean into the indie-Americana side that they explored on parts of Ferried Away. It’s a great song, and you can hear it below. They’ve also got a new press photo that seems to imply their recent six-piece touring lineup is now their official lineup.

In related news, Stay Inside’s new TE labelmates awakebutstillinbed just announced a tour with their 2022 splitmates For Your Health (who announced a new album last week), and the NYC stop of that tour features support from Stay Inside, as well as NJ “emo revival” revivalists Ogbert the Nerd (who also have a new-ish album that we love). That show is on June 24 at Trans-Pecos, and the tour surrounds Michigan’s Pug Fest, which awakebutstillinbed, For Your Health, and Stay Inside all play. All dates are listed below.
