Marriott offers a significant BreakAway discount for leisure stays for employees of some of its most critical corporate accounts.

Marriott has likely extended the number of eligible companies; in 2023, it was up to 227 because they removed the list from their website (dead). The rate is not valid for business travel.

The good thing about this rate plan is that it does NOT require prepayment and is usually cancelable without a fee 4 to 2 days before arrival (check the rate rules).

The rate rules also require you to present a business card or company ID if requested at the time of checking in.
