New PS Plus Premium Classic Comes With Easy Trophies

A new third-party PS Plus Premium classic game has launched with trophies on the PS5 and PS4, and the list looks pretty straightforward. 1996’s PS1 game Alone in the Dark 2 comes with 21 trophies including the coveted Platinum.

Alone in the Dark 2 is available for both the PS5 and PS4 today via PS Plus Premium and stand-alone purchase on the PS Store. However, at the time of this writing, only the game’s PS4 trophy list seems to have been picked up by websites tracking trophies.

Today’s PS Plus catalog refresh still hasn’t fully rolled out in all regions, so we expect the PS5 list to go live sometime later today.

As for the trophies, there seem to be a few story-related trophies alongside trophies for random tasks and collectibles. Nothing too time-consuming, however.

Speaking of PS Plus classics and trophies, today’s re-release of War of the Monsters also comes with trophies, although we expected them because the game was published by then Sony Computer Entertainment.

It’s the third-party games that sometimes launch without trophies, but to give credit where it’s due, Sony has been doing a fantastic job working with its partners on adding the feature post release.
