Danielle Deadwyler Talks Jaume Collet-Serra’s ‘The Woman in the Yard’ in New Featurette

The Woman in the Yard actors Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder The Fall), Peyton Jackson, and Estella Kahiha discuss the “pipeline to something terrifying” in the featurette below.

All that you’ve known will be disrupted will the film hits theaters on March 28 from Universal.

Produced by Blumhouse, Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, The Shallows) directs from a script by Sam Stefanak (“F Is for Family”).

Deadwyler stars as Ramona, a woman crippled by grief after she survives a car accident that takes her husband. Seriously injured, she now must care for their two children alone in her rural farmhouse.

Then one day, a spectral woman shrouded in black appears on the front lawn and warns them “today’s the day.” Where did she come from? What does she want? When will she leave? Only The Woman in the Yard knows.

Okwui Okpokwasili (“Agatha All Along”) and Russell Hornsby (“Grimm”) round out the cast.

The Woman in the Yard reunites Collet-Serra and Deadwyler following their recent collaboration on Carry-On.
