Rosario | Trailer

Today Mucho Mas Releasing is giving us a glance at Rosario, the new horror film. With Emeraude Toubia (“With Love”) as the protagonist, playing an independent Latina that has managed to naturally fulfill her career goals. But all success has its price. 

The Synopsis

Wall Street stockbroker, Rosario “Rosie” Fuentes, returns to her grandmother Griselda’s New York apartment after her sudden death. While sorting through her grandmother’s belongings, Rosario uncovers a horrifying secret—a hidden chamber filled with occult artifacts tied to dark rituals. As supernatural occurrences plague her, with no one to turn to, Rosario must confront her family’s buried secrets and the price of abandoning her roots. To survive the night she must face the truth about her family’s sacrifices and her own choices.

Rosario is a film directed by The Colombian filmmaker, Felipe Vargas. Known for his work in the horror genre with its touch of Latin America’s mythology.  Among the cast it also includes David Dastmalchian (“Oppenheimer”), Paul Ben-Victor, José Zúñiga (“Twilight”), Diana Lein (“The Heads of Joaquín Murrieta“) and Emilia Faucher (“Coda”).
