Ex-Zulu vocalist Anaiah Rasheed Muhammad issues new statement after band parts ways with him

Zulu are “on pause” after the band parted ways with vocalist Anaiah Rasheed Muhammad after he was accused of mental and physical abuse. He denied the allegations, and he’s now issued a lengthy new statement on his Instagram about the circumstances he says led up to them. Read it below.

In their most recent statement, Zulu say that they “have separated ourselves from Anaiah and will no longer be working with or performing with him in any capacity,” and that “the allegations were never disclosed to us prior, and we were immediately concerned reading the detailed account.” The band were also replaced as support for Refused on a few upcoming shows.
