Billie Marten preps new album, touring with Tennis (hear “Feeling”)
‘Dog Eared’ is out July 18 and features contributions from Núria Graham, Sam Amidon, Shahzad Ismaily, Sam Evian, and more.

British singer-songwriter Billie Marten has announced her fifth album, Dog Eared, which will be out July 18 via Fiction Records. It was produced by Phil Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Laura Veirs) and features contributions from Núria Graham, Sam Amidon, Shahzad Ismaily, Sam Evian, Maia Friedman, Josh Crumbly, Mike Haldeman, Mauro Refosco, and Vishal Nayak.
The first single from the album is the bright, breezy, “Feeling.” Billie says, “‘Feeling’ is really set alight by Núria Graham’s guitar part, the one you hear from the outset. It sparks the album info life and really sets a benchmark in terms of rhythm. This is an album of rhythmic focus.” Watch the video below.
