A new website registration may suggest that a Persona 4 remake is in development. On March 20, 2025, the domain p4re.jp was registered, though going to the site currently leads to a dead end. It is not known which company or individual registered the address. This follows Atlus' Persona 3 Reload. If you go to the website p3re.jp, it leads to the official Japanese website for the Persona 3 remake called Persona 3 Reload. The remake launched early in 2024, and it was followed by the release of the Episode Aegis DLC that added content originally found in the Persona 3 FES PS2 game. The website domain was registered a few months before Atlus announced Persona 3 Reload, and about a year before it was released. The popularity of both the Persona series, and Persona 3 Reload, as well as the similarity of the freshly registered domain to Persona 3 Reload’s website, has led some to believe that the p4re.jp domain has been registered for an unrevealed, upcoming Persona 4 remake. However, there is no concrete evidence and no official announcement from Atlus or Sega about a new version of Persona 4.
