WAVVES announce new LP & tour, share Travis Barker-produced “Goner”

Wavves have announced a new album, Spun, which will be out June 6 via Ghost Ramp. Full details have not been shared yet but with the announcement comes new single “Goner,” which was produced by blink-182‘s Travis Barker.

“I had this song I had been sitting on, always revisited it and tried to record it a bunch of times but it was never just right,” Nathan Williams says. “Eventually it was giving me PTSD. I was talking to Travis about doing some songs together and when I opened up the vault to him, this one jumped out so we laid it down and finally we got it right.” You can watch the video, directed by Brandon Dermer, below.

Wavves have also announced a North American summer tour which has them out with Death Lens on the first half and Chokecherry on the second half, plus two California dates that also have Beach Goons on the bill. The tour hits Brooklyn on July 11 at Warsaw with Chokecherry. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 AM local time.
