The Institute of Travel Management (ITM) announce the appointment of Gemma King, Vice President of Global Corporate Travel at Omnicom as the new Chair of the Board of Directors, effective May 2025. She succeeds Nikki Parsons, Global Travel, Jane Street who has served in the role since April 2023.

Gemma King brings a wealth of experience in corporate travel and has been a key contributor to ITM’s success over the years via her existing role within the Board of Directors. Instrumental in the conception of the ITM Achievement Awards and re-launched Mentoring Programme, Gemma’s passion for nurturing talent within the business travel industry is undeniable. With a strong background in leadership, governance, and strategic growth, she is well-positioned to guide the association through its next phase of development.

Promoting inclusive leadership, the Chair coordinates the collaborative contributions of its voluntary Board of Directors to support the direction of the association. An active ambassador of ITM, the Chair works closely with the ITM CEO and Secretariat team to deliver value to its members.

In her new role, Gemma will focus on ITM’s core values to educate, inform, connect and inspire its members, ensuring that ITM remains at the forefront of the business travel industry.
