Michael Mann Shares Touching Tribute To Late ‘Heat’ Actor Val Kilmer: “I Always Marvelled At The Range, The Brilliant Variability”

In the wake of the sad news of the passing of Val Kilmer at 65 years of age, his “Heat” director, Michael Mann, is sharing a touching tribute to the late versatile actor.

The actor’s family confirmed to the New York Times that Kilmer succumbed from pneumonia and had been previously diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014 but would later recover from it.

“While working with Val on ‘Heat’ I always marvelled at the range, the brilliant variability within the powerful current of Val’s possessing and expressing character.
