AIR

Air are continuing their spectacular Moon Safari tour well into 2025 and they’ve just announced a very special Los Angles show at Hollywood Bowl on September 21 where they’ll play the album backed by an orchestra. So far this is their only North American show but all dates are here.

SPARKS

Sparks will be bringing their MAD! Tour to North America in September.

YOUTH OF TODAY / BOLD

NYHC legends Youth of Today and Bold will team up for some rare shows together this summer.

EKKO ASTRAL – LIBERATION WEEKEND FESTIVAL

Ekko Astral and trans rights advocacy collective Gender Liberation Movement are putting on a Washington DC music and arts festival during WorldPride 2025. Liberation Weekend happens on May 30 and 31 at Black Cat and DC9. Check out the lineup.

BUILT TO SPILL / YO LA TENGO

Here’s a hard-to-resist classic indie rock double bill: Built to Spill and Yo La Tengo.

GRUFF RHYS

Gruff Rhys will begin his American Interior 10th anniversary tour on April 9 at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC. If you missed it the first time, the album is the soundtrack to his documentary about trying to retrace the steps of distant Rhys relative and explorer John Evans, who traveled through North America in the 1790s trying to locate a lost tribe of Welsh-speaking natives. These shows will be be a mix of songs and a power-point presentation about John Evans (who in the film and artwork is played by a puppet) and is very entertaining.
