Glixen touring with Turnover and Scowl; new EP coming to exclusive red wine vinyl

Phoenix shoegazers Glixen have been on the rise and this year released their sophomore EP, quiet pleasures, which we now have an exclusive “red wine” vinyl variant of. It’s limited to just 100 copies and up for pre-order in the BV store now. Get yours while they last and check out a mock-up below.

The band are about to wrap up their first-ever headlining tour ahead of appearances at Coachella this month, and they also just announced two very cool new tours. They’ll support Scowl (whose anticipated new album Are We All Angels comes out this week) on a just-announced US summer tour, and then they’ll head overseas to open the UK/Europe leg of Turnover‘s Peripheral Vision 10th anniversary tour, which also includes Wicca Phase Springs Eternal on the UK dates. Tickets for the Scowl tour go on sale Friday (4/4) and tickets for the Turnover tour are on sale now. All dates are listd below.

We’ve also got an exclusive “candied avocado” vinyl variant of the new expanded 10th anniversary edition of Turnover’s Peripheral Vision up for pre-order now (limited to 500), and we recently had Turnover singer/guitarist Austin Getz on the BrooklynVegan podcast to discuss the classic album for the occasion.
