First Photos: “Nine Perfect Strangers” Season 2

Hulu has premiered the first photos of Nicole Kidman and the rest of the cast in the second season of its all-star dramedy series “Nine Perfect Strangers” based on the Liane Moriarty novel. In addition, a double-episode premiere date of May 21st has been announced.

The first season was set at a wellness retreat in California (though was shot in Queensland, Australia). The second season was actually shot on location in Austrian Alps.

In the new run, nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman) to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps.

Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.

New cast for this outing includes Henry Golding, Christine Baranski, Murray Bartlett, Mark Strong, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Aras Aydin.

David E. Kelley, Nicole Kidman, Per Saari, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Molly Allen, Jonathan Levine, Rachel Shukert, Liane Moriarty, Matthew Tinker, Anthony Byrne and JH Butterworth all serve as executive producers.
