It seems Electronic Arts’ Titanfall 3 is still in the works, per claims made by two notable leakers. The last bit of information regarding the third entry suggested it was canceled, but that no longer seems the case.
Titanfall 3 will reportedly launch next year
According to known leaker Yorotsuki, Titanfall 3 is in development. The leaker shared previously on an unnamed Discord server in December 2024 that Respawn Entertainment was working on a “secret game.” They have now confirmed that the game is the third entry in the beloved first-person shooter franchise and have shared a logo for the game as well.

Yorotsuki also claims Titanfall 3 will release in 2026. At the earliest, EA and Respawn Entertainment will announce the game at The Game Awards 2025. They do not fully commit to saying the award show will be where the game is revealed, but that this will be the earliest we will see the game.
Sometimes, information like this is hard to believe. However, another known leaker corroborates Yorotsuki’s claims. Specifically, Apex Legends leaker Osvaldatore also posted the logo in a tweet. Yorotsuki said they asked Osvaldatore to “verify the authenticity” of the Titanfall 3 leak.
While it seems everything claimed is legit, it may be wise to take all the information with a grain of salt. It would not be surprising if Titanfall 3 was a real game in development, but things can always change. We’ll know more when Respawn Entertainment and EA reveal the first-person shooter possibly later this year.
Back in 2023, a former Respawn Entertainment employee revealed Titanfall 3 was in development for 10 months before being canceled. Fast forward to 2024, a report claimed the developer was working on a new game set in the Titanfall universe, but it was not a third entry in the franchise. Fast forward to last month, a former employee stated an “unannounced incubation project” they had been working on was scrapped. It is unclear if the aforementioned Titanfall universe game and this incubation project were related.
