Ironwood Studios has rewarded those 1 million plus Pacific Drive players with their most substantial update yet with “Endless Expeditions”. Packed with new features and improvements headlined by the addition of Expeditions and the introduction of the Suspend feature, the update is further celebrated with a 40% discount for Pacific Drive on Steam until April 15 and PlayStation until April 23.
The Endless Expeditions update adds two highly requested features to Pacific Drive. For roguelite fans, Expeditions starts you in the garage with an ever-changing set of challenges and restrictions, generating new routes, and ramping up the difficulty to ensure that every journey feels fresh. You’re also now able to use the new Suspend feature to save your progress at any time, exit the game and return when you’re ready to pick things up again in the game.
Other additions in the update include quality of life improvements, such as upgrades to essential tools like the Plasma Scrapper and Thermal Vacuum, UX features and the addition of Ida’s Exchange. Ida is a trader who offers players new parts while in the Zone in exchange for scrap material, negating the need to go back to their garage.
And no road trip would be complete without the perfect soundtrack, and the radio playlist for Pacific Drive is now even better with 21 new tracks from new and returning artists. The Pacific Drive Radio Soundtrack Vol. 2 is also available to listen to on your actual road trips via streaming music services too.
Pacific Drive is available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It has also been shortlisted for Best Debut in this year’s BAFTA Game Awards and Best Game Writing at the 2025 Nebula Awards.
