Interview with the Vampire
The production team of AMC’s “Interview with the Vampire” has confirmed that filming on the third season, which will entirely adapt the second book “The Vampire Lestat,” will kick off later this year with the writers currently busy on the new season’s scripts – pretty much cementing a 2026 premiere date.

The first season was shot in New Orleans, the second in Prague (doubling for Paris) and the third will be done in Toronto. The show’s composer, Daniel Hart, is writing the rock songs for Lestat actor Sam Reid whom the new season will focus heavily on. [Source: Deadline]

The Pitt
Filming has begun on the second season of Max’s medical drama “The Pitt” with producers now confirming the new season’s events will unfold over a Fourth of July weekend.

The first season follows the staff during a single fifteen-hour shift at a fictional hospital in Pittsburgh. The second season’s events will kick off ten months after the final hour of the first season. [Source: Deadline]

Mountainhead
HBO has announced that “Mountainhead” will be the title of “Succession” creator Jesse Armstrong’s upcoming HBO telemovie. Production is expected to wrap this week in Park City with the title undergoing rapid post-production in order to be ready for airing on May 31st.

Steve Carell, Ramy Youssef, Jason Schwartzman and Cory Michael Smith lead the cast of the film which follows a group of billionaire friends get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis. [Source: HBO]

The Last of Us Part II
Naughty Dog’s “The Last of Us Part II,” the 2020 Game of the Year title which serves as the source material for the second and likely third season of the HBO series, finally hit PC this week – a full five years on from release.

Reviews so far have painted this port as good and in a lot better shape than the first game which had a famously rough PC launch. That said, there are still reportedly some minor issues even as the game has reportedly been able to work well on rigs of varying power as well as on Steamdeck. Check out the launch trailer for the title’s PC run below.
