Rituals unveils first Scotland travel retail store at Edinburgh Airport
The opening, which complements Ritual’s presence in the domestic market, features signature lines and experiences such as the Amsterdam collection and tea ceremony.

UK. Luxury wellbeing house Rituals has launched its first standalone store in Scottish travel retail at Edinburgh Airport.
The 65sq m space, which officially opened on 31 March, represents a significant development in Rituals’ strategic expansion across the UK and complements the brand’s growing presence in Scotland’s domestic market.
Situated in the airport’s main terminal, the boutique invites travellers into a serene, immersive retail environment. The store notably features the brand’s Selling Ceremony, including its signature water island and tea ceremony. These curated experiential elements underscore Rituals’ philosophy of slowing down and finding meaningful moments in daily routines.
Aligned with the brand’s commitment to sustainability, the store offers a refill cabinet where customers can replenish their favourite products. The refill concept is a cornerstone of Rituals’ environmental strategy, which centres on the 3Rs: ‘Reduce, Recycle, Refill.’
The store highlights Rituals’ Dutch heritage by offering the Amsterdam Collection, one of the brand’s most distinctive product lines.
Edinburgh Airport, the busiest in Scotland and the sixth busiest in the UK, reported over 15.7 million passengers annually for the first time in 2024. The airport’s announcement of 12 new routes for 2025 points to continued growth in passenger volumes and international tourism – factors that will enhance visibility and engagement for the new Rituals store, the brand said.
XAero Chief Commercial Officer Gail Taylor commented, “Bringing in new partners and providing more options to our passengers is key to our overall approach so we are really looking forward to welcoming Rituals to Scotland’s capital airport. The store will offer people the chance to indulge themselves ahead of their travels and we hope it becomes part of their ritual at Edinburgh Airport.”
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Scotland’s travel retail sector,” added Rituals Director Travel Retail EMEA & Americas Lotte Rozemuller. “This new location will not only offer travellers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the Rituals experience but also reflect our ongoing commitment to luxury wellbeing and customer engagement.
“As Edinburgh Airport continues to grow, we are proud to be part of its transformation and offer passengers a meaningful way to indulge in Rituals’ high-quality products.”
