Cape Air announce the return of its daily seasonal flights to Provincetown Municipal Airport starting May 16, 2025, offering up to 11 flights a day to Boston. In addition, the airline will introduce a new route connecting White Plains, NY, with Provincetown, set to launch on June 13, 2025. This new service will operate Thursdays through Mondays throughout the summer, providing an efficient and convenient travel option for passengers coming from New York City and southern Connecticut.
“We are thrilled to expand our service to Provincetown, offering new direct flights from White Plains to this beloved Cape Cod destination. This additional route underscores our commitment to enhancing connectivity between this region and the outermost tip of Cape Cod, making it easier for travelers to explore everything Provincetown has to offer as well as offering local P-town residents new nonstop service to the greater New York area,” said Aaron Blinka, Vice President of Planning at Cape Air.
The new service from White Plains complements Cape Air’s existing daily flights between Provincetown and Boston, helping to make travel to this iconic destination more accessible than ever before.
Since 1989, Cape Air has been one of the largest commuter airlines in the United States, serving 31 cities in the US and the Caribbean. The New England regional airline, based in Hyannis, Massachusetts, has grown from three flights a day between Provincetown and Boston in 1989 to a fleet of 98 aircraft, more than 300 flights a day, and approximately 400,000 passengers annually.
