Last Call: American Express Offer For US$50 Global Grand Hyatt Cash Back Ends April 15 2025

Back in January, I wrote about a new Amex Offer for U.S. cardholders, advertising a US$50 refund on purchases of US$250 or more at Grand Hyatt properties worldwide through April 15, 2025.

This is a GLOBAL promotion, meaning you can stay at all properties under the Grand Hyatt brand worldwide and will be eligible for the offer which is remarkable as often these offers are limited to North America.

You can find this offer in your American Express online account under the offers list, and then have to manually add it to your active list.

The very same promotion was available roughly a year ago (I believe then it was $60 return) so I was surprised to see it again popping up in my Amex account late January and I added it immediately.

This promotion is valid for purchases made with the registered card between January 15 and April 15, 2025.

It should be quite useful for most cardholders who like to stay at Hyatt, as there are no geographic limitations for the stays due to the global nature of this promotion.

Keep in mind that these offers are always targeted and they don’t necessarily show up in every cardmembers Amex account. You can try and add a bunch of currently available offers and hope that they get replenished with ones that you’re actually interested in (100 at the time are being displayed).

The offer will expire soon, so this is a last minute call to make sure you swipe your enrolled card at a Grand Hyatt within the next 13 days;

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Incheon in Korea for two nights, and it was a welcome opportunity to utilize this offer and get some cash back, bringing the rate paid there down to a reasonable US$116/night.

This is a rather nice offer as it’s usually easy enough to clock in a $250 spend at one or two Grand Hyatt’s. It doesn’t have to be in one transaction or the same property either, and given that this brand is usually more expensive, $250 isn’t a hard-to-reach amount.

Conclusion

American Express cardholders in the U.S. have new Amex Offers available to add to their accounts; the most recent one with $50 off $250 Grand Hyatt purchases is particularly interesting as it’s available globally.

You have to swipe your registered Amex card at a global Grand Hyatt hotel in order to activate the offer and receive the full amount back. i haven’t gotten my “You just used your Amex Offer” email yet like in the past but not doubt that will arrive at some point.

Qualifying Purchases

Offer valid only at Grand Hyatt® Hotels in the US and internationally. Excludes all other Hyatt brand properties and timeshares. Offer not valid for purchases of gift cards or World of Hyatt points. Statement Credit

Please allow 90-days after 4/15/2025 for the statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.
