Horror Movie ‘Skillhouse’ Starring 50 Cent & Bryce Hall Coming to Theaters This Summer

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson stars alongside social media personalities Bryce Hall and Hannah Stocking in Skillhouse, with Josh Stolberg (Spiral: From the Book of Saw) directing.

Deadline reports that Skillhouse, “a dark satire of social media and influencer culture, exploring how far people will go for online fame,” hits theaters July 11 from Fathom Entertainment.

In the film, “Ten influencers are lured into a sinister content house and forced to compete in lethal social media challenges – because in Skillhouse, clout isn’t just currency; it’s survival.”

Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, “Justified”), McCarrie McCausland (“Army Wives,” “The Originals,” “Game of Silence”), and Paige VanZant also star.

“Horror has always been a genre that captivates moviegoers, but never has Fathom distributed to movie theatres a project quite like Skillhouse,” said Ray Nutt, CEO of Fathom Entertainment. “Social media permeates our society today, and influencers have changed the dynamics of how many choose the brands they purchase and the content they consume.

“The brilliant Skillhouse concept is ripe for exploration on-screen and is a success story in leveraging innovative ways to reach audiences and engage with them.”

Skillhouse is produced by GenTV and its founder, Ryan Kavanaugh.

The screenplay was written by Josh Stolberg (Saw X).
