Some of these are quite sizeable, too, including Pokemon Adventures, which has built up a catalog of 60+ volumes and will grow even larger when two new Scarlet & Violet graphic novels arrive later this year.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Originally printed in Nintendo Power, this is now the best way to relive one of Link's first adventures.

Super Mario Adventures

Originally published in Nintendo Power in 1992, Super Mario Adventures is now available as a full-color graphic novel. It follows Mario and Luigi as they attempt to rescue Princess Toadstool from the clutches of Bowser--with Yoshi tagging along for good measure. At over 100 pages, it's a wonderful way to relive the iconic Nintendo Power original.

Super Mario Manga Mania

Join Mario and friends as they head on a variety of adventures in Super Mario Manga Mania. You'll meet many familiar faces throughout its 160 pages, though note the manga is in black-and-white, unlike the full-color pages offered by Super Mario Adventures. You'll get to experience chapters based on various games, including Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario, and other classics. The series is written and illustrated by Yukio Sawada, who has worked on several other Nintendo books, though this is one of the few to get English translations.

Splatoon

Spanning 16 paperbacks, this series follows Goggles and Team Blue as they take part in the Turf Wars. They're the underdogs, however, and it'll take serious teamwork and careful coordination to walk away victorious. Each volume sees the team dealing with a new challenge, and with 16 volumes in the series, it's an excellent way to dive deeper into the quirky (and colorful) world of Splatoon.

Note that many of these early volumes are quite large, though later volumes shrink to around 100 pages each. If you notice a price tag that dips below $10, it's likely a smaller story. But regardless of which you pick up, you'll be treated to an authentic Pokemon adventure featuring all your favorite monsters.

Pokemon: Scarlet & Violet

This is the current story arc for the Pokemon manga, following Violet Lang and Scarlet Kioto as they train at an academy in the Paldea region. The two are tasked with finding treasure scattered across the land that will assist them in becoming more powerful Trainers. The first volume is now available, and preorders are open for the next two volumes ahead of their arrival later this year.
