A busy day on the release schedule adjustment front, starting with Paramount Pictures who has set new dates for three of its upcoming projects.
The most notable is “The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender,” which has scoed a new logo and which has been pushed back almost a year – from January 30th 2026 to October 9th 2026.
Set several years after the events of the TV series, the animated film follows the beloved “Avatar: The Last Air Bender” character’s young adult years. South Korean singer-songwriter Eric Nam will play the last surviving Airbender.
Also of note is “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2,” the sequel to the acclaimed Seth Rogen-produced animated film. It has been delayed nearly a year, it was targeting an October 2026 opening but will now arrive September 17th 2027.
Next, “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie” has been moved up a week from July 31st 2026 to July 24th 2026. That film finds the PAW Patrol having crash landed on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs.
Also today, 20th Century Studios has officially revealed an October 24th release date this year for “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” the Bruce Springsteen biopic starring Jeremy Allen White.
Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Stephen Graham, David Krumholtz, Marc Maron, Johnny Cannizzaro, Harrison Gilbertson, and Chris Jaymes co-star in the film about the creation of the singer’s stripped down 1982 album “Nebraska”.
