James Gunn Talks The Batman Part 2, Wonder Woman In DCU And Peacemaker Season 2

James Gunn took to Threads to answer some fan questions about The Batman Part 2, Wonder Woman in the DCU and Peacemaker Season 2. Let’s start with Peacemaker Season 2 which just got a new trailer recently. There’s been talk of why Rick Flag Sr. and some fans thinking he’s the Secretary of Defence.

Gunn clarified, “He’s the head of ARGUS. But he works alongside the Secretary of Defense.” Fans then quizzed on why Amanda Waller was no longer head of ARGUS? Gunn said we will find that out within Peacemaker Season 2. 

Gunn was also asked whether there were any encouraging updates about The Batman Part 2? He simply replied, “yes.”

He also said there was an encouraging update on Wonder Woman appearing in the DCU, though he said it’s, “Not to be shared publicly yet”.

Gunn also confirmed to fans that Lex Luthor is not president of the United States in Superman. Apparently a few fans felt like this was implied in the trailer, I didn’t get that myself.

Not a lot, but figured it was worth just detailing all his relevant responses in one post. Gunn is hardly giving much away here. As for The Batman Part 2, there was a big hoo ha recently in the leaks community. All because one Production site had the film starting later this year, but with no director attached. Turned out it was just the usual nonsense posted on these kind of sites and not to be taken seriously.
