JOHNNY MARR

Johnny Marr is playing NYC’s CBGB Festival on September 27, and ahead of that he’ll be playing a few East Coast shows, including Nashville, Norfolk, Buffalo, and Port Chester.

JEFF GOLDBLUM AND THE MILDRED SNITZER ORCHESTRA

Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra just released their new album Still Bloomin’, which features Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and more, and the band are touring, including a sold-out run at NYC’s Cafe Carlyle on May 27-31 and two shows at Bowery Ballroom on June 1 (5:30 and 8:15 PM).

ASTROPICAL

Astropical, the collaboration between Colombia’s Bomba Estereo and Venezuala’s Rawayana, will be on tour supporting their debut album, and dates include NYC’s Brooklyn Paramount on May 31 and SummerStage at Central Park on June 1.

WOLF ALICE

Wolf Alice are back with their first new music in three years, and they’ve now announced a tour as well.

ALEX G / NILUFER YANYA

Alex G has announced a fall North American tour with Nilüfer Yanya. That’s a great pairing, and the shows begin on September 11 in Boston.

NBA YOUNGBOY

Rapper NBA Youngboy has announced his first tour in five years, the MASA Tour, which is also his first-ever headline tour. It hits Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September 27. Deebaby, EBK Jaaybo and K3 open.

ANAMANAGUCHI

8-bit vets Anamanaguchi are gearing up to release their first-ever rock album and they’ve announced a tour in support. It’s an extensive run of fall dates with Be Your Own Pet, Ovlov, Sobs, and more joining along the way. The NYC show is Brooklyn Steel on 10/11 (with Ovlov).

NATION OF LANGUAGE

Having just announced their signing to Sub Pop, Nation of Language have announced a fall tour.

THE WEDDING PRESENT / THE TUBS

The very appealing double bill of UK indie guitar greats The Wedding Present (playing Bizarro in full) and newer Welsh indie rock band The Tubs (ex Joanna Gruesome) begin their North American tour tonight in Austin. They hit Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 23.

LOLLAPALOOZA 2025

Lollapalooza 2025 is coming up soon and they’ve announced set times.

RIOT FEST 2025

Speaking of Chicago festivals, Riot Fest has also announced daily lineups.

DOWNTOWN BOYS

Downtown Boys have a couple shows on the horizon: Ekko Astral’s Liberation Weekend fest in DC at the end of May, and NYC’s Trans Pecos on June 28 with Hamed Sinno and Big Girl.
